Journal Issues
After the conference, participants will have the opportunity to submit their papers to the various journals which will be accepting a selection of high-quality papers presented at the conference:

Paper Submission
Abstracts of papers and/or session proposals should be submitted electronically by April 4, 2018 to the scientific committee of the conference as attachments (.doc or .pdf format) through the conference submission webpage at:

Abstracts of no more than 200 words should contain JEL classification codes. The authors’ full name, affiliation, address, phone number and e-mail for correspondence should also be indicated. An entire paper may be submitted, when available, but it must include an abstract.
Proposals for complete sessions are also encouraged. Each session should be made up of three or four papers. We welcome theoretical, empirical and policy-oriented papers. Participants are expected to serve as program chairs and discussants at the Conference sessions.
Acceptance letters will be sent by April 15th 2018 - for those that submitted before April 4, 2018
Full paper submission is encouraged along with abstract submission.
If you cannot submit the full version of your paper by April 4, 2018 deadline then please submit an abstract and make sure that you submit the full version as soon as possible thereafter but no later than June 1st, 2018 so that the other session participants can access it before the conference.
Conference Registration Fee
The conference fee is £295 and should be paid by May 25th 2018. It covers access to all sessions, a welcome reception on the evening of 21st of June, buffet lunches and gala dinner on 23rd June, conference coffee breaks and conference material. Conference fees will not cover the participation in the voluntary excursion planned on the 24th of June.
The conference fee for research students is £195 (a covering letter of proof of research student status is required either from your supervisor or the head of your department).
Late payments: If conference registration and fee payment is not completed by May 25th an additional processing fee of £100 will apply.
If the conference registration and fee payment is not completed by May 25th the paper will not appear in the program. If your paper is accepted and you cannot complete the registration by May 25th please contact Joscha Beckmann at e-mail [email protected]

Important Dates
- Paper/Abstract submission deadline: April 4 2018
- Paper acceptance notifications will be sent by April 15th, 2018 (for those who submitted by April 4)
- Conference registration fee payment deadline: May 25th, 2018
- The Preliminary Conference Program will be announced on June 5th, 2018
- The Final Conference Program will be announced on June 10th 2018.
- Full paper submission as soon as possible but not later than June 1st, 2018
- An optional excursion will take place at the final day of the conference June 24th, 2018 (there is an additional fee payable for those wishing to go on this. Details of the excursion to be arranged - you can pay for this separately upon arrival at the conference).
